July 9, 2018.
Earlier this month, I was named a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®). The FCSI® is one of the investment industry’s most prestigious professional distinctions. It is reserved solely for a group of experienced financial services professionals who meet the highest standards for advanced education, ethical conduct, industry experience and peer endorsement.
To attain the FCSI®, we are required to do more than demonstrate exceptional competence in technical knowledge and principled professional behaviour. As a condition of receiving and maintaining the FCSI®, I have committed myself formally to continuing to make an annual leadership contribution to the investment industry. Affirmed by top-tier colleagues and the Canadian Securities Institute, it reflects a unique level of maturity, capability and integrity. Furthermore, with nearly twenty years of service in the industry (in 2018), this designation provides further recognition that you are working with an investment professional who aims to provide the highest standards of service and advice.
If you have any questions about what being named an FCSI® indicates or how it was earned, you can find information on Wiki or at the Canadian Securities Institute.
Sincerely,
James M. DiCenzo
